ANOTHER man has been found partly eaten by dogs at a town camp where a South Australian man suffered a similar fate three weeks ago.
A witness found three dogs “having a feed” on a 48-year-old man’s body at Hidden Valley camp in Alice Springs. It is the second body to be found at the town camp partly eaten by feral dogs in three weeks.
A long-term Alice Springs resident who was visiting his cousins at the camp made the horrific discovery after 10.30am on Saturday.
The 46-year-old man, who did not want to be named, said two girls in a passing car yelled out to him when he was outside a house.
“I saw three brown dogs having a feed of this bloke. They were down on the inside of his legs,” the man said.
“He was there lying on the ground. I hunted those dogs. I threw rocks at them and yelled at them to get away from the man.
“I ran over and then put my fingers on his neck to check for a pulse but he was dead. I yelled out and told one of my relations to call the cops.”
Police would not confirm yesterday if the man was killed by dogs.
Three weeks ago a savagely bitten body was found at the same camp.
Comment:
My original comment from http://sacreator.com/2008/07/30/sa-white-man-eaten-alive-by-dogs-while-visiting-abos still stands.
Funny how the members of the Aboriginal community are presumed to be completely innocent in relation to the death of Mr Hardy. I on the other hand don’t believe that to be the case.
It’s more likely that the poor man was lured to the Aboriginal community, beaten and robbed, then fed to the dogs.
This is why even the Northern Territory Police will sometimes warn tourists to never stop for an “Abo” on the highway. If they stand in your way, go around them or run them down. If they lie down on the road, run them over – but never stop! If you do, you may be robbed, lose your car or be murdered as I suspect this poor fellow was.
